it's been a long time....I didn't die or anything.
I have so much to update so I'll do it in bullet style...
- Drunk driver crashed in one of cars in front of the house, the BMW is totaled on one side...
- Mom's in the hospital, she's officially anemic
- Grandpa's got his pacemaker
- I paid off my tuition for this semester, all 12,000 dollars worth.
- I get an award from Manor College (former college) Last Friday
- Easter Break is this week....
Despite everything, apparently I'm still being considered for my mom's bone marrow and T-cell donor. They feel that I'm going to match, because I'm her daughter and she's my mum. There's a chance that this might not work, because my bone marrow might overtake hers. I'm still in the process of trying to see what I'll need to do for the procedure. If it comes down to me, we'll have to leave home and live in residental housing for 2 months at John's Hopkins hospital in Baltimore.
Mom was in the hospital since last week, and she should be home today...or something.
Hey guys, how are you been? All well? Feeling good?
There are many reasons why i haven't updated in a long time, one of the reasons is school....college. I'm doing fine this semester minus this one class "Intro to Psych" and its really killing me and my morale. I'm managing to carry a C
for the class, which is good so i can get credits for it. So far, my other classes are perfect (As and Bs). I'm about to transfer to my dream college, Chestnut Hill...but my parents are going to discuss to see we can afford it. The tuition is 29,000 a year. Despite this, my father is insistent that they will find a way for me to attend the college...although I'm still trying to find alternatives if things fall through and I'm college-less. 2008 is the hardest and most difficult year I've gone through, I hope 2009 is much brighter and easier.Aside from college, my mother is still sick with her cancer and she's done with her regular treatment but the cancer is still there, it hasn't died. They are going to try to give her chemo for one week, every day...but that means that she'll have to be in a hospital for 3 weeks, and not home. I'm trying to handle everything, but its really hard to balance college when you know your mother is really not looking and feeling great. She needs a T-cell donor (blood transplant/transfusion) so I hope she'll be able to get some blood from my aunt or myself (although I had a tranfusion last year).
Health wise, I'm doing okay aside from the fact that my weight is slowing getting worse...I need to give up junk food, soda, and high calories forever. I'm going to try to work out everyday, and I have a wii fit so I use that sometimes to get myself riled up to get moving.
Please pray for my family, it seems we have more sick people in the family than we realize at the moment. Pray that I pass INTRO TO PSYCH!!!!!
- Groove Heroine / Futeki / Dev
Here is the name I have come up with your inspiration for the gaming blog: Melee Heroine (Melee = (pronounced "maylay") has been adopted and popularized as a gaming term to encompass all hand-to-hand fighting. For instance, gamers will refer to "melee attacks" as opposed to "ranged attacks" in the context of first person shooter, real-time tactics or computer role-playing games.
The technology one - _________ Heroine (i have not come up with an idea yet. So far, the Heroine name I created for this blog has been very popular and effective (also...you don't forget it...do you?
Thanks for your ideas and suggestions!
