Hey guys, my first day at my new college and as a junior is Monday, January 12th. This nervous feeling has been with me all week long, making this week unbearable. Despite that I'll be a Junior (3rd year of college out of 4 years of college in the US, for those who don't understand), I'm insanely scared of being unable to handle 5 classes instead of my usual 4 classes.
Please pray for me!
Also, my mom has a new set of Chemo (for this week) and in another 21 days...she'll have more chemo. She plans to have radiation to remove the bump or growth on her head. Please pray for us!

Hey, I just started listening to music from China or (speakers of Mandarin, Taiwanese, Singaporean..etc) and I thought I would recommend some that I've tried so far. This list will be short since I just started listening very late this week. I'm going to try Jay Chou, Fish Leong, F.I.R., and Wilber Pan.

Khalil Fong
I started listening to Khalil Fong after I watched this PV to the left, and I really fell hard for his voice, style, and personality. He really has a uniqueness to him that I haven't seen in a long time, in either Japan or USA music. He really reminds me of Robin Thicke, Music Soulchild, or even D'Angelo. Khalil was born in Hawaii (USA) so he is very fluent in english among other languages. If you don't listen to the others, I really recommend Khalil Fong.

Since I've been busy with college and transferring, I've been listening to great amounts of music lately since it gets me through school. I have several artists to introduce and I hope you like them as much as I do.
1. Casker (Korean) - I got into Casker through Clazziquai through Last fm, where I've been a member since 2006. Casker is somewhat similiar to Clazziquai, but it seems more picopop/electronica/lounge. I feel that Clazziquai is more shibuya-kei and chillout/longue than Casker. I recommend Polyester Haert (4th or 5th album that just released in December 2008)
2. L'Arc en Ciel (Japanese) - I got into Laruku very late in my asian music listening years, which I am very ashamed and sadded to admit. I discovered them or began to listen to them by listening to the a Christmas song in July, called "Hurry Xmas" which is probably my favorite song from them. I like the melody and rhythm of the rock music and Hyde's rough yet not-jarring voice.
3. Rie Fu (Japanese) - I started listening to Rie Fu with 5000 miles, I really enjoyed her voice and I loved to hear her voice in English as well. I find her music and style very endearing and I really enjoy her. I also recommend her "Romantic" single that was produced by m-flo
